Game Account Cancellation Agreement

Dear User, before you proceed with the account or character cancellation process for this game, please read the following important notice. Once your game account or character (collectively referred to as “game account” or “the account” unless otherwise specified) is successfully canceled, all Data associated with the account (including, where applicable, your personal information) will be removed or irreversibly anonymized. Any services or digital products previously linked to the account will no longer be accessible, except where otherwise required by applicable laws or by this Agreement.
Account cancellation is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make your decision with caution.

If, after careful consideration, you decide to proceed with cancellation, you must thoroughly review and fully understand this Game Account Cancellation Agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”). By initiating the cancellation process or by selecting the confirmation option to continue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all provisions of this Agreement.


1. Consequences of Account Cancellation

You understand and agree that canceling your game account may lead to the following outcomes, for which you bear full responsibility:

1.1 Loss of Access and Social Interactions

You will permanently lose access to this game account. Other players will no longer be able to interact with you through this account.

1.2 Review and Erasure Schedule

Upon selecting “Confirm Cancellation,” we will conduct a 30-day eligibility review (“Review Period”). After the Review Period, the result will be presented on the designated webpage.
Once the review is approved, we will finalize the cancellation and begin the Data deletion or anonymization process within the subsequent 30 days (“Cooling-Off Period”), except where laws or policies require otherwise.

Following the completion of this process, you will no longer be able to recover or request restoration of any Data related to the account, including but not limited to:

      For character cancellation only: character name, avatar, progress logs, inventory, skins, heroes, virtual items, chat records, etc.

      For full account cancellation: all data associated with every character under the account.

Please note that certain social data (e.g., conversation logs with other players, friend referencing entries) may need to be retained per applicable laws or privacy rules.

1.3 Retention for Compliance Purposes

If the account was subject to penalties or restrictions due to violations of laws or our policies, we may retain relevant records for up to three years after cancellation, solely for the protection of rights holders. Such retained information will not be used for any unrelated purposes.

1.4 Disposal of In-Game Assets

You understand that all virtual assets linked to the account or character will be cleared once the cancellation takes effect. You are strongly advised to manage or spend remaining in-game property before submitting your cancellation request.

By proceeding with cancellation, you acknowledge voluntarily relinquishing all virtual property, whether currently owned or expected to be received in the future. We may permanently remove such items, and you agree not to request reimbursement or restoration.
This includes but is not limited to:

      Paid membership privileges

      Character progression values (experience, titles, prestige, etc.)

      Unused virtual currency or consumables

      Subscription services not yet expired

      Expected or accumulated in-game rewards

1.5 Non-Recoverability of Accounts

Once cancellation is complete, the account cannot be restored. Logging in again from the same device will generate a new account.

1.6 Non-Recoverability of Characters

If only a character is canceled, it cannot be reinstated. If the account has no remaining characters, logging in will create a new character. If other characters still exist, no new character will be generated.

1.7 Termination of Service Agreement

When the account is officially canceled (after the Cooling-Off Period ends), the Terms of Service you signed for this game will be terminated, except for clauses that are expressly intended to remain valid.
However, termination does not exempt you from any obligations or liabilities incurred before cancellation, including potential breach liabilities, damages, or performance duties.

1.8 Character-Only Cancellation

If a single character is canceled but the account remains active, the Terms of Service will remain fully effective.

1.9 Other Possible Effects

Any other consequences of cancellation not listed above may also arise depending on your account status and usage history.


2. Conditions Required Before Applying for Cancellation

Before submitting a cancellation request, you must ensure the account meets the following conditions, which help safeguard your interests and account security:

2.1 Ownership and Compliance

You must be the lawful owner and user of the account. The account must comply with Terms of Service rules and any applicable game policies.

2.2 Account Security Status

The account must be in a stable and secure condition:

      No current risk of compromise or unauthorized access

      No bans or freezes within the past 14 days

      No sensitive actions in the past 14 days (device change, password reset, account transfer, etc.)

2.3 Settlement of Virtual Property

All in-game assets and balances must be properly handled before applying.
If left unprocessed, they will be considered voluntarily forfeited.

2.4 No Outstanding Orders

There must be no pending transactions, including unfulfilled purchases, top-ups, or subscription cycles.

2.5 No Binding Social Relationships

All social ties—such as guild membership, team participation, mentor-apprentice links—must be removed.

2.6 No Existing Disputes or Investigations

The account must not be involved in complaints, reports, governmental inquiries, arbitration, litigation, or similar disputes.

2.7 Additional Requirements

Any other requirements officially published by us must also be satisfied.

You may attempt to resolve these issues yourself or contact customer support if you need assistance.


3. Cancellation Procedure

3.1 Initiating Cancellation

Submit the cancellation request through the official function settings page following the instructions. After confirming, you will be redirected to the cancellation webpage.

3.2 Account Verification

If your account is linked to a third-party login service, you must log into the corresponding account and confirm the game account to be canceled. You must also reconfirm that you meet all requirements listed in Article 2 and agree to this Agreement in full.

3.3 Review of Eligibility

We will evaluate your eligibility for cancellation within 30 days. When accessing the webpage during this period, you may view the current review status.

3.4 Verification and Identity Checks

To protect your account and property, we may verify whether you meet the cancellation criteria listed in Article 2.
We may also conduct identity authentication (e.g., email verification) to ensure you are the authorized account holder.

If the account does not meet the cancellation standards, or if authentication cannot be completed, cancellation may fail.
Even if we determine you meet the eligibility criteria, this determination is based solely on your representations, and you bear responsibility for the authenticity of all commitments. We assume no legal liability arising from any inconsistencies.

3.5 Cooling-Off Period

Once you pass the review, your account enters a 30-day Cooling-Off Period.
During this time:

      Account details such as avatar and nickname may still be visible

      We will not delete or anonymize data unless otherwise required

      Logging into the account will be interpreted as cancellation withdrawal

3.6 Logging in During the Cooling-Off Period

If you attempt to log in, a prompt will indicate that doing so will void your cancellation request.
If you continue into the game, your request will be canceled.
If you exit, we will check whether other characters are in different states and may redirect you accordingly.

3.7 Completion of Cancellation

When the Cooling-Off Period ends, if we have not received any withdrawal request and no conditions prevent cancellation, the account will be officially canceled.
Data deletion or anonymization may require additional time to protect user rights, resulting in a brief delay.

3.8 Special Circumstances

During the application process (including the Cooling-Off Period), if transaction verification, complaint handling, dispute processing, or other reasonable concerns arise, we may suspend your cancellation request and temporarily decline to provide cancellation services.


4. Miscellaneous

4.1 Agreement Priority

This Agreement forms part of the overall Terms of Service (“Master Agreement”).
If any conflict arises between this Agreement and the Master Agreement, this Agreement shall govern.

4.2 Compliance Verification and Legal Obligations

If your account is under transaction review or subject to dispute when you apply for cancellation, we may freeze all or part of the account to complete verification.
If fraudulent or illegal activities are discovered, we may report them to relevant authorities as required.

Account cancellation does not exempt you from any obligations or liabilities under applicable laws, agreements, or rules incurred prior to cancellation.
